Job responsibilities
- Develop technical concepts for the treatment of radioactive waste and for the dismantling of nuclear facilities
- Select and design necessary mechanical equipment/tools
- Calculate and design components
- Process orders and coordinate/plan individual projects
- Communicate with other company departments and suppliers, coordinate and monitor interfaces with other engineering departments and contractual partners
- Prepare design basis documents and approval documentation as well as necessary lists for ordering
- Implement customer requirements taking into account contractual terms and conditions and tracking their impact on deadlines and costs
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, cost control, scheduling and progress determination
- Conduct technical discussions with customers and suppliers
- Supervise and monitor construction sites and suppliers, take part in commissioning activities worldwide
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, specialising in mechanical engineering, or a similar qualification
- Work experience in the relevant field
- Construction site and practical experience would be an advantage
- Experience with modern CAE software (COMOS, SolidEdge,..) is desirable
- Very good English skills (CEF C1/C2)
- Initiative, ability to work in a team, assertiveness, negotiation and coordination skills, organisational talent
- Flexibility and willingness to work abroad (as part of short-term international assignments)
