Job Responsibilities
- lead and manage our team of engineers during the basic and detail design phases of the projects and further project implementation phases in accordance with the customer contracts
- oversee the technical aspects of a project team to ensure compliance with relevant main project criteria such as quality, costs and deadlines
- coordinate the engineering project team during all project phases up to completion and handover to the customer
- structure and prepare requirements to the design, documentation and procurement
- check bid proposals and calculations
- conduct technical negotiations with suppliers and customers
- lead internal and external technical project meetings, ensure project monitoring and control
- prepare internal reports
- provide support for schedule planning
- represent NUKEM's interests in front of customers
- support our Sales team during bidding processes
- organize and hold ‘Lessons-Learned’ events
Qualifications
- University degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification and professional experience
- at least 5 years of work experience in engineering
- knowledge of MS Office and MS Project/Primavera
- team player
- leadership skills and ability to motivate others
- strong communication and presentation skills
- very good English and German language skills
- to travel internationally
- knowledge of regulations and standards (e.g. KTA, DIN, IEC) would be an additional asset
